Jeremiah Caucutt Founder & President | Pinnacle Heavy Civil

Jeremiah Caucutt is a leader who truly knows the heavy civil industry from the trench up. With a career spanning 28 years, he has transitioned from a laborer in the field to the founder of one of Arizona’s most innovative civil contracting firms.

Jeremiah’s journey began in 1998 on a military base, where he discovered a passion for construction while building rappel towers and training ranges. This experience inspired him to enlist in the U.S. Army in 2000. He quickly distinguished himself, rising rapidly through the ranks due to his technical skill and leadership. By age 18, he was already a Squad Leader, directing the construction of a railroad museum at Fort Eustis, Virginia—an achievement that earned him the Army Commendation Medal and a letter of appreciation from the Base Commander. His military service culminated in a tour overseas, where he was responsible for rebuilding critical destroyed infrastructure in Iraq.

Upon returning to civilian life, Jeremiah applied his military discipline to the private sector. Starting as an estimator for a Phoenix utility company, he rapidly advanced to Chief Estimator, successfully landing over 250 projects. He later broadened his expertise as a Superintendent for a General Contractor, overseeing the construction of Chase Bank branches across California.

Returning to his roots in heavy civil, Jeremiah served as the Director of Construction Management for a startup firm, where he played a pivotal role in its massive growth, managing projects across Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming.

Today, Jeremiah leads Pinnacle Heavy Civil with a vision to outperform the status quo. By combining self-perform capabilities with his own proprietary management software, he is bridging the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation.
